I wouldn't pigeon hole ourselves as far as scheduling is concerned if it were me. I would always leave every option available. Our schedule is plenty tough and some of our fans don't understand that championships are more important to a program that having the toughest schedule.

Just ask FSU about that.

Both D1 teams in Carolina are required, by law, to play and instate FCS program each year as part of the share the wealth legislation when schedules were expanded to 12 games during the regular season.

SC State, Wofford, Furman, Coastal Carolina.

UF already plays Tennessee once a year, adding another FCS school just makes it look like we only play cupcakes...

The SEC should have an official policy flat out banning FCS games unless an opponent cancels at the last minute and you have to fill a game with no other option.

Sec has similar policy, all teams from the west division are required to play Arkansas
