I enjoy listening to Dan Patrick. The only thing that kills me with his show (I only listen on radio--haven't seen the tv version) is he ALWAYS asks questions to himself.

Overall though, a great show.

ESPN needs to stay out of society and political issues. They've veered away from covering sports.

They go where the ratings lead them.

I guess I'm one of the few on this board that likes Cowherd. I don't always agree with what he says, but I find that interesting and compelling radio for a morning drive.

I don't care for DP show, but then again I only listen from 11am - 11:30am during lunch and it just a pain to make it through those 30 mins. Its the only sports radio show so I suck it up and listen to him some days.

Like most of the guests he brings on are usually hollywood actors that are affiliated in some way w/ their parent company and trying to promote a movie or upcoming movie, or something similar. If I'm listening to a sports show, I don't give a frick about hearing about some dude form The Entourage or some dude that is in Trainwreck and their opinion is on sports. No DP, nobody gives a frick.

Also, DP is annoying in that he always has to look like the genius and tries to make everyone else look dumber than him. It was funny one time, listening to Landon Donovan cut through DP's b.s. and call him out on it.

But back to Cowturd, him and DP should just make a show together and see which one can come off as more annoying and pretentious. They could even call it, "The DP's Turd show".

Glad Cowherd's gone.

Most of you will not agree with this, but before Cowherd, Tony Kornheiser occupied the 10 to 1 slot on ESPN Radio. His show was funny and sarcastic, with sports topics thrown in to discuss and sometimes rip apart. He also took calls (which I got through a couple of times).

It was sort of like TD on the airwaves. I was disappoint when the show ended.

I love TK. It took me a while to get used to Cowherd, but in the end I enjoy his show for the most part.

Maybe nebraskafaninwi successfully called/emailed the powers that be to have his ratings reduced. He tried this before when he did the same to high school kids that picked Wisconsin over Nubraska.

Kilo, since you are a continued melting pot of a Missouri fan, did you call the phone numbers I provided in the thread so you can have a brain cell of intelligence? I'm still waiting for you to provide the phone records.

It is hilarious that an A&M in the East and a Missouri in the West thread has gotten into your head and soul and is eating you alive.

lol.

So you think its ok for a grown adult to try and frick with a high school kid because he didnt pick Nubraska and went to Wisconsin?

Talk about deflection. You never denied you did this, in fact you admitted as much. All you are left with is some faux "outrage" over what type of communication you had with 247 about those high school kids.

You might have started with a denial that you did this in the first place. Arguing on whether it was a phone call vs an email looks equally pathetic. You actually did both so there is that I suppose.

Cowturd was fine as long as he stuck to sports, it's when he tried to lecture us on morality and politics that I turned him off. A lot of others did the same. His leftist agenda and secular humanistic worldview pumping got old in about 2 seconds. ESPN as a whole has turned into TMZ...I only watch live sporting events now and will do the same until they decide one TMZ is enough and get back to sports instead of Michael Sam and Bruce Jenner garbage.

Kilo is deflecting. You were given the phone numbers to dial to get EVERY piece of information you could ever desire. So go and dial the phone numbers.

Are you afraid?

You already admitted to contacting 247 about high school recruits that picked Wisconsin over Nubraska in attempt to smear them. I don't have to dig for anything.

You think anyone is going to buy your "find this information that you know we cant obtain" will somehow make your act less creepy and pathetic? The lack of "phone records" isnt the magical glove that doesnt fit your hand.
