Love the butthurt. Couldn't happen to a more obnoxious fan. I hope your butt continues to hurt until the next Iron Bowl. And I'm pretty sure it will.

But you see, those are outliers. That's not melting, that's clinical insanity. The entire LSU fan base has been melting for years, even the rational ones.

We're quite happy actually, haven't you heard we have 4 of the top rankings for happiest cities in America? Your claims have no merit.

You realize we went to the national championship in 2013 with only 1 good receiver and he didn't become good until 2013.

You realize it's because we had the best run game in SEC history and it only worked like that because of Marshall's legs. Also, who is going to play the Corey Grant role next year?

Speaking of melting, I almost forgot to mention all the death threats Alabama fans sent to Cade Foster after the Iron Bowl last year

Great point. The Alabama meltdowns are EPIC...and deadly. It will happen again and is always fun to watch. Except for the killing of course. Most Bama fans are cool. However, there are a lot of "smug" fans during this great run of theirs. Don't know when their next melt down will be but everything else is Romper Room compared to a Bama Melt.

The fans that went to the university are fine, most of them are actually cool as hell and I've had a blast whenever I go to Tuscaloosa even in Auburn colors.

The ones that don't have an affiliation to the university are the mixed bag. Some are cool people that just like good football, and some are bonafide crazies.

Gotta say I 100% agree with this.

And the bonafide crazies treat Tahd Football (notice I said football, because they could give two shats about anything else on campus) like a family member, and if you talk bad about them well then you just asked for some punishment. That applies to Auburn fans, TN fans or Alabama fans. They don't wanna hear it from anybody. YOU DONT TALK BOUT MY TAHD LIKE THAT.

The difference is, Alabama melts become angry at Alabama. There is almost never a "we were cheated" "the refs screwed us" "it wasn't our fault" mentality (outside of the NCAA stuff, I'm talking on the field). We just immediately move to FIRE EVERYONE GET HIS PATHETIC ARSE OUT OF HERE after 3 losses or so.

Very true. I try to hate them but always run into some cool fans. I do hate Saban though...he was a tool when he was at LSU. Great coach though.

Auburn got beat by a better team. When LSU lost to Alabama that was not the case. You Gumps are something I though there was a ceiling to your arrogance.

I can go along with that logic. No fanbase in the country takes its college football more seriously than Alabama. I'm an LSU fan for life and concede that Alabama far surpasses LSU in terms of commitment to win. The fans are a very loud voice for decisions it seems. Sometimes I wonder about the Tigers in that regard.

That's an interesting take considering the score of the Auburn-LSU game.

No....Bama scored more points...therefore Bama is the better team.

Logic is hard

The promising news of hiring Boom has distracted them for the time being. If, and when, they hire someone other than Muschamp watch out.

Nah.

I'm of the opinion that the status quo on defense was about as bad as we could be (even worse than the 2009-12 Chiz defenses), so any change should be at least a marginal improvement. Coach Boom is the Gold Star though.
