Who recruited those players?

Bait and switch. Never had anyone do a 180 on you personally? Right...

Dumbass boys. Nuff said.

Fortson and Jason Henry certainly had known flaws during the recruiting process. But none of that really matters. If, as the head coach, you don't have the respect of your players, they're not going to hesitate to be dumbfricks. Lack of institutional control...

But hey, since you're obviously unbiased in your observations regarding Arkansas basketball, would you mind explaining to me Pel's offensive philosophy?

I certainly am not versed in his offensive "philosophy". However, one could certainly assume that it is at least loosly based on the prnciples he aquired from playing basketball under Pitino in Lexington.

And I have no problem with that. I think I've read that he takes after Donovan, so that makes sense right?

My problem with Pel is that, whatever the philosophy might be, it doesn't manifest itself during a game. It just looks like a bunch of isolation/chickens running with their heads cut off/street ball.

I agree with that to an extent, but then again, Fortson makes it look less chaotic. He is more organized chaos on the floor, but everything flows better with him directing traffic and penetrating.

He is missed first and foremost.

They are a commuter college in a run down and antiquated area of the city - they think it's cool with their mullets, fanny packs and F-150's

But, per usual with Pel's recruiting, the kid is a problem and can't stay on the court because he stays in trouble.

He isn't even practicing right now.

When will Fortson be able to re-join team?

his 'philosophy' would probably work better with more bodies.

we played close for the first 15 mins
we played close for the first 10 mins of the second half

everything else, the times when UL ran away with the game, was the result of a full court press taking the legs out of our 6 actual players and zero bench depth.

Maybe Dana Altman knew what he was doing after all.

He met Stefan Welsh and knew right away the program was in trouble.
