RN has lived up to the hype and then some. Just because he hasn't made a Clowney type hit yet doesn't mean he's not an elite DL.
That's the thing though. RN hasn't made NEARLY the impact that Clowney made his first two years but yet he receives the same amount of hype. Most overrated player in the SEC.

Nkemdiche ran straight to the ball on the very first play and almost made a one-armed tackle.
Where do you see that in the video? He gets nowhere on the very first play. The very next play, the next 5 plays, 20, plays, 40 plays, etc.

Treadwell too. Even if you project Treadwell's stats last year, he barely goes over 900 with 7 TDs. For a team that passed the ball 428 times and him being the 5 star #1 WR, how is it possible that a big bodied WR like himself doesn't score more? He was damn near as big has Engram who is their "TE". He's been pretty much Moncrief, but not as good.
He's a decent or above average WR, but he's no kind of All American/greatest in the country etc, etc, etc, like the media is dying for you to believe. Same goes for Nkemdiche as a DT.
I like Tony Conner though. Kid is legit. Should be a first rounder. The others are going first round based on nothing but recruiting numbers and how they'll test at the combine, IF, they still don't show up this year.

The Ole Miss defensive coordinator said that the entire defense runs through Nkemdiche. It was the #1 scoring defense in the SEC. Sounds pretty impactful.

Who would have thought, an offensive lineman would look really good while holding.

Was Ethan Pocic a freshman or sophomore last year, because my god he blew up Nkemdiche on multiple plays. And I forgot how easily we ran through the middle of that soft D, thanks for sharing

He was hurt in the middle of the year?
He also had a sack/FF stolen in the LSU game by a convenient inadvertent whistle.
Holding in the auburn game cost him 5-6, seriously the most pitiful play I've seen from a tackle in years.

Since you're an Aggie I'm sure you know if he was injured or not, and I wouldn't say he had 5 sacks taken away during auburn. He had definetly 5 possibly QB hurries taken away because he got dragged to the ground on the hold but let's be honest, with that poor group yall assembled on defense the only player Nick marshal had to look out for was Garret, if he got hip to hip with the tackle marshal would have tucked and ran.

Well if your going to go there, you might as well point out that there were quite a few other plays where he was going to get sacks where the QB thew the ball before he had the chance. He should have had a lot more sacks...
Only A&M fans...

This is why it is always good to actually look in to stats and not just take the medias word for it.

This is how LSU gameplans against good individual DL. We usually run right at them. We did it very well against Clowney also.

Most overhyped, overrated, and overpaid player in SEC history.

He is definitely a DT. Schematically he could be a 3-4 DE I guess but not in our scheme.

As a former #1 HS recruit he has failed to live up to expectations. Unless Ole Miss has low expectations for their players? I'm seeing a correlation here
