No, it was either 1970 or 1971. I think it was 1970.

Cheating at what?..it certainly wasn't on the field
Yes, it was. On the field is where Alabama played ineligible players, and thereby cheated.

Only Bear Bryant, at a seemingly insurmountable 232 wins, remains in front of him.
I could see Saban coaching for another 10ish years to beat out Bear

Alabama needs a Penn St. level scandal, without abuse of children, to wipe that program clean.
Imagine the melt.
“Alabama coaching staff and athletic department caught embezzling money from charities in order to buy drugs and prostitutes for recruits. Video and email evidence spanning the entire length of Nick Saban’s tenure there proves this has been occurring for over a decade and he had an integral part in the scheme.”
I would skip a week of work to celebrate.

To be fair, since January, 2004. When I was a sophomore in HS.
And 20k of those are probably from adderall binges during finals in college and refusing to actually study

That's about all that could do it.

I know, right? Would be epic! It would be on par with a team who fancies themselves as "elite" hiring a borderline unintelligible career D-line coach as HC after they fired their all time winningest coach. It would be that level of melt!
Or maybe it would be like playing for a national championship in your home state and shitting the bed so bad that you gain less than 100 yards of total offense, get shut out for the only time in championship game history, and only cross the 50 once! It would be that level of melt!

Give that man an extra Little Debbie's.

So, just for the record, he has exactly the same number of wins at Bama that Les Miles had at LSU. Interesting.

It would take more than that. There would need to be a bunch of child laborer underneath Coleman Coliseum making Little Debbie's just for Nick.

The level of cheating is embedded in the culture at Bama. It not only happens but is expected. There won't be a scandal.
Saban is already the GOAT in CFB even if he doesn't pass Bear in all-time wins.

And he did it in two less years...
