Spurrier just looks like his mind is already on the golf course. There is no denying Spurrier is a Hall of Fame coach, but last year he looked like someone who couldn't wait for the season to end.

He is scared of Malzahn's offense

VOLS will make Saban's arse quit after TSIO. He sees the writing on the wall with the big orange uprising and what not.

After the season they had, can you blame him? I mean, they lost to UK, whose only other SEC win was, well, us. Then USCe had to win their bowl game just to get above .500. For a coach of SOS's pedigree, that can't have been pleasant.

As an LSU fan who wants Saban to retire, that is one shitty article.

If he retires does that mean Urban made him quit?

Last off-season it was Saban to Texas. This off-season its Saban to retire.

Guy is basing his logic on a Tim Brando quote about an Alabama coach? LMFAO.

I think he's done within 5 seasons....

As an LSU fan, I've obviously been watching Saban a long time, and through all of the winning he has never seemed like a particularly happy person. If he retired from coaching he wouldn't have anything to be unhappy about. Health permitting (physical not mental), I don't think he will retire any time soon.

Didn't read it, but I bet this means he gone.

I think he is tired of coaching and I'm not sure how much longer he will do it. i don't think our team will be that great this year, 8-4, and I don't think he has a lot left in the tank but he has been great.

It will be a great day for everyone but Bama when he finally leaves, and I have no problem admitting that.
But he's definitely always been that miserable evil genius type, so none of that article seems to indicate he's planning to retire. He's just a grumpy sob. He still wins football games.

I am Alabama new coach. You are all fricked.

I do disagree with Brando's claim that he will retire after winning another national title.
After he gives up at least 34 points to Malzahn's offense for the 3rd year in a row next year, he will announce his retirement
