And to think, had he not coached at LSU none of this would be possible.

To be fair, Atlanta has like 20 Mercedes dealerships. Nashville is a pretty good sized town... large enough to host at least 2 Mercedes dealerships.

In short - Duh.

Saban is diversifying. I've been in his sprinter series, it's nice. No problem with the man making some money. He lost quite a bit in real estate.

Opening a car dealership in Tennessee seems pretty pedestrian and inconsequential for such the World leader in Saban.

What's wrong with American cars,

A number of "American" cars are made in Mexico.
You can thank Democrats and NAFTA for that.
You can also thank the liberals and unions for so many new auto plants located in the South: Merecedes, Hyundai, and Honda in Alabama; Nissan and Toyota in Mississippi; Kia in Georgia; Volkswagen in Tennessee, BMW and Volvo( I think) in SC.
Did I miss others?

You're right. But if he'd have stayed, all he'd have would be a chain of of drive thru daiquiri stands.

I think his time and investments at lsu forced his hand in this. He lost a lot of money from his time then.

Vance, not Birmingham. It is in the eastern part of Tuscaloosa county.
