One reason they follow you around for 6 months rather than 6 days is because it would be really easy to "put on a show" for a few days, but impossible to do so over a long period of time, that way they get real footage, not just you performing for the camera.

I bet you think reality TV series are all unscripted as well....

Actually, if you can read lips, you know perfectly well he was saying, "frick your future growth spurt. I can buy and sell you."

It was pretty cool that they were able to get Sunshine to follow the script and throw a pick to Eddie Jackson.

Would anyone be surprised if LSU shows up in navy blue and black cars instead of the team bus Saturday?

Uh, its been 9 years since the dude left BR. People who are actually still mad about it need therapy.

60 minutes is an investigative long-form news broadcast. It is not "reality tv" and it is not scripted.

Well, kinda. It is scripted -- I doubt most of the questions, let alone the voice-over work, were extemporaneous. The entire segment, while interesting enough (primarily to non-football fanatics, since most people who really follow CFB either already knew or were unsurprised by any of the forthcoming revelations.) It was pretty much softball journalism. Not that that's bad or anything, but it doesn't make for riveting water-cooler news.

You don't invite 60 Minutes to follow your program for several months if you are as dirty as the SEC Rant claims you to be. Thank God 60 Minutes didn't follow the sec officials meetings or the scheduling meetings, amiright?

60 minutes was a respected investigative journalism format about 15-20 years. Now, it is like all other TV journalism- pretty much just playing for ratings as much as any other TV show.

Ask yourself one question- do you really think Bama would have allowed a non-puff piece that truly went into why Saban and Bama are so successful?
