Pretty much.

The thing I like about Saban is that he literally does not give a single frick what the media or any of you think. He does things his way, and they work for him. I do not agree with every decision he makes, but you have to respect a guy who just goes about his business with not a care about being PC or pleasing the mediots. He took a risk and got burned, happens to risk takers from time to time.

He sure gets testy for someone without a single frick to give.

When people are getting harmed from his dumb decision making he should learn to start caring... Say Geno Smith stays with the team and drives drunk and kills someone, how would this affect his don't care attitude... Obviously the kid has a problem..

Well, yeah I can. But I wasn't the one that made the implication that we should be expecting to go to a January bowl.

He gets testy because he has no patience, not because he cares what you think. If he gave a frick he wouldn't make half the decisions he does or say half the things he does.

You're exactly right...and the thing that really kills all these clowns is they can't do a damn thing about it. He'll be right back next season kicking their asses and making them squeal.
Reminds me of the nickname given to a departed LSU DB a few years back....Honey badger..

Would getting kicked off the team make it more or less likely for Geno Smith to drive drunk?

You've stood firm on this since January. Kudos to you

More posters like you would make the rant a better place.

So if Geno is an alcoholic, Saban kicking him off the team will cure him? That will force him to never drink and drive again? I would kick him off too, just to set a precedent but it is foolish to pretend kicking him off would keep the roads safer if a guy has a problem. He will have way more resources to deal with a true issue at Bama than on the streets back home. That is a fact whether you like the decision or not.

You're pretty sad.... Saban could kill your firstborn and you'd rationalize it. You're the stereotypical bams fan. Your whole life revolves around that football team..

There has to be consequences, obviously they haven't been severe enough...

To be fair, he was drunk as shite when he got arrested the first time. At least drunk enough to plow into a gas pump at a gas station in his new Camaro... Best friend is a regional guy for Chevron. I got to watch the security footage. It was epic
i plowed into a parked car behind me at the end of my driveway, sober as a judge

Are you really referencing lutz? you're truly a worthless human being... A great kid lost his life and you wanna reference that... You really need to reevaluate your life...

I really do hope Saban has Mike Lutzenkirchen come to talk to the football team. The Lutzie foundation is a great organization to help kids realize the mistakes they make have huge consequences.

He has guest speakers for substance abuse and violence towards women twice a year. It obviously doesn't get to everyone.
