Stupid. UF deserves it for multiple reasons. Playing for the conference title has massive benefits and massive drawbacks. You win, you get to play for it all. You lose, you get relegated out of the Sugar. Its not a win/win situation. The stakes are high, and UGA got what they deserved.

He said he thought UF should go too. He actually threw the conference champions that are 7-5 under the bus, and thought that a team losing just one game in the SEC should get to go, as well as the teams making it to the SECCG.

UGA is 1-2 against ranked teams this year. They are so deserving of a BCS game. I'm completely shocked that they don't warrant greater consideration.

Saban is right - UGA deserves a BCS bid over some of these garbage teams... But you people are naive if you don't think the only reason Saban keeps pimping Georgia is because he has an ulterior motive to make his team look better.

Know what you’re alluding to but your premise is wrong as his idea would not have changed the results of the LSU / Bama game.
The thought of getting GA into a BCS game does not mean put them in the championship game this year nor would it last year.

I don't think any sane UGA fan thinks we should go to a BCS game over UF. 2 team per conference limit blows but is what it is. If I was a Pac12 or Big10 fan I'm sure I would feel the same way... if we had 6 teams in the top 10 after the final week of the regular season.

FWIW, In this particular conference, Saban was just talking about UGA being in a BCS game in general. He wasn't saying they should get in it over UF.
