The original figure was that every player in the top 15 that Saban has signed has been a 1st round pick.
This. The way I heard it was that every 5-star ranked in the top 15 signed by Saban has been a first rounder. Not sure which rating service they were talkin' 'bout though; ratings tend to vary so much, even with the 5-stars...

Complete bullshite, Eddie Williams- kicked off campus for robbing other students.
And who was that running back who isn't returning this year? Dee Hart? He was a Rivals 5 star..didn't exactly pan out.
You're bullshite bruh.

There have been five stars signed by Saban at Alabama that haven't been drafted in the first round and there will be more to come. Alabama signs too many 5 stars for them all to pan out in college much less get drafted that high.
The ratio is pretty good compared to the ratio of 5 star success in general so far though.
Agreed, wasn't meant to be a flame, just didn't seem like a correct stat.

Burton Scott disagrees.

Burton Scott was the dumbest human I've ever meet.

I think there's over 20 on campus now. I believe you're right that not all are first rounders. No matter the stars, how well players are coached and how they use said coaching, determines their future in the NFL or whatever to do in life.

every single 5 star who's played for Saban at Alabama has been drafted in the first round?
Big recruiting advantage for Bama even if it isn't true. But the NCAA can't do anything about it even if they didn't favor Bama. Somehow Saban has got the sports media in his jock. I guess they just all want a piece of him at any cost.

This shite again. Here is a very good article on it that explains better.
Nick Saban develops 5-star talent - others don't
I'm sure the haters will find some way to dismiss the article but basically Saban's ability to develop 5* athletes into first round draft picks is unparalleled.

To be fair to him, he tore his ACL twice. Showed good promise when he actually got to see the field.
He also pulled knives on fellow 5 stars. Can't forget that amazing stat.

If he is a 5 star he doesn't need much developement. So yes the help from the in your pocket media is unparalleled.
