Your post doesn't prove what you think it proves. Nick Saban has beaten 3 Auburn teams that finished 8-5, meaning if that team had beaten Nick Saban they would have - by your definition - been good. But they didn't. So, really, there are 8 teams that would have had 8+ wins had they not faced Nick Saban. He is 3-5 against those teams.

4-2, one loss in 2007, one loss in 2010. Neither had a Bama team that was in a situation to go to the championship.

Ohhhhh laaaaawwwwddddd all these stat IBtreads are getting outta hand. It doesn't mean shite really. When I look at this game I don't expect to win it but there's a decent chance AU could win it. I won't be heart broken if we lose. I'll be very happy to say the least if we win. Hell, I'll be happy if its a helluva game period.
