I respectfully disagree. Now I'm not going to say he will be as good as Dak, but Dak doesn't have a cannon for an arm either. Dak's accuracy was mediocre at best until his junior year. It all depends on how this year goes.

Chad has the stronger arm. What Mike Detillier was basically saying is the legs enough to move / buy time and make the throw. Both do it very very well.

Eta: Prescott has shown a beautiful touch throwing the ball. Pick your poison.

I thought this thread was about Fitz. Fitz has all the tools and is ahead of where Dak was at the same age. I also think his maturity has improved and will continue to improve. He'll be in a uniform on Sundays and I think he'll see the NFL playing field eventually if not early.

Since Dak is with Dallas, I tell you who I want from Ole Miss but Dallas won't get him. Evan Engram. One of the most respected analysts covering college and the NFL as a scout is Louisiana's Mike Detillier. If you get a chance, got listen to Bo Bounds podcast from several days ago. He thinks Evan Engram can be a nightmare vs defenses when put in certain slots. It's a fantastic listen and he would make Dallas so potent in the offense because of how he could be utilized. LINK For what it's worth, he also said despite Chad Kelly's off the field issues, half a dozen teams are looking hard at him because he has true NFL arm strength and somebody is going to get a steal. I just want Evan Engram to the cowboys. HERE is the link. Scroll down several days until you see Mike Detillier. He talks the Saints, Lsu etc and then about Evan Engram and Chad Kelly. It was what he said about Evan Engram that caught my attention in the ways he can be used to open up an offense.

Fitz had like 2-3 good games and ended the year with a dud against a MAC team. Afraid State fans are due for a let down.

I think if Ole Miss had a non-JUCO QB do what Fitz did last year you'd be even more excited.

This guy broke records and was the 3rd leading SEC rusher during our Dak hangover..

We had more drops last year than we've had in 15 years and OL was crap too. I remember when people when people were saying Dak would never be an NFL quarterback. You have to watch him play and not the results of the play. He can only do so much. Sure he has to work on his touch some but so did Dak after his sophomore year... even leading into his senior year Dak couldn't throw the deep ball... fitz has that down... he's gotta stop overthrowing the swing routes and maybe not throw it as hard on the short slant routes because our receivers suck and can't catch a hard thrown ball.

He had enough good games to lead the SEC in total yardage. He was not the problem last year.
