Glad to hear he is making a solid come back. It will suck to play him but hate to see injuries mess up a career.

Great news! Kids a freak of nature. I truly hope they're not rushing him back though. Those injuries can mess with your mental state pretty easily. Look at what it did to RG3.

Here's to hoping for a full recovery by Chubb!

That's great news! It would be a shame for the SECs best RB to not be able to play opening weekend, great for Chubb!

Gurley has reached out to Chubb and talked to him about that mental part.
Gurley has been able to overcome it. I have a feeling and strong hope that Nick will too.

Great player. Glad to hear it. Hopefully Smart will use some patience though, because it's hard to come back from an injury like that.

Awesome news. He has a chance to wreak havoc on that UNC run defense.

And one of the most humble players I've seen in a long time. Hard to not like a kid like him.

Great to hear! I love watching Chubb. That Clemson game 2 years ago was damn fun to watch with Gurley and Chubb running wild.

Chubb is the man. Sucks to see him injured. Sony michel is no slouch though. I think with the addition of holyfield the back field will be tough to stop.

Certainly good news for UGA.

Has he named a starting QB yet? If not, do you think it will be Eason?

Not directed to me...but no CKS has not named a starter. He also doesn't like talking to the media much so even as fans we don't really know.
I'd suggest that most Dawgs fans don't actually think Eason will start first game but I could easily be wrong.

So i just heard Coach Smart say that Chubb will not be on a "pitch count" in his first start since major knee surgury less than a year ago. Does this seem a little crazy to anyone?

What I can say at this point which is based on the way CKS is handling the media is that even if #27 was on a "pitch count" Kirby would not let anyone know. Gameplan against #27 left, right, and up the middle.
