Chubb squats 600

Less than two years after destroying his knee. What a beast.

Wow, impressive. Pulling for him to stay healthy and have a good season.

I liked this quote from him when he talked about retuning for his SR year:

quote:

"The last game (a loss to Georgia Tech) didn't go how any of us wanted. ... It kind of hurt inside. I'm a very prideful guy," Chubb said, per ugasports.com. "To bypass the year and go chase something that's hopefully going to always be there for me, bypassing hanging out with my friends, and the brotherhood we have here, I couldn't pass up my senior year."

DGD.

Probably would have gone down as the second best to ever do it at UGA if it weren't for the freak accident.

He still will go down that way. He's gonna be second on damn near every record at UGA and possibly the SEC for rushing

Than why'd he post a video showing him freaking about being able to do 583?

I question that 650lb video

You can see 7 plates on each side. You can clearly see a 10lb'er and a 25lb'er, that leaves room for 5 plates(each side) So 5x45lbs+25lbs+10lbs=260x2+45(bar)=565lbs

way to shite on a thread. KP was doing 605lb in high school, lots of guys do this weight, Chubb just got back from injury.

Also, before the knee injury Chubb squatted 700, but that guice story was cute though. Would like to see guice do it after tearing damn near every ligament in his knee.....

Jesus Christ. Everybody's favorite team's lead back is great at squating many pounds.

Unreal what some folks argue about

Strong dude. His issue last year looked like "trust" to me. He looked very different than the beast running the ball he was before injury

I think Chubb will be Chubb again only if he can trust the knee repair. Only time will tell..
