MIami has the second longest streak ever at 13 years

Ohio State has the second longest current streak at 8 years.

So what you are saying is that BAMA football is a tree-shreading machine.

Reliving? Alabama won the SEC and made the playoff last season. No need to relive it, we are in it.

2 down.. 14 to go

That’s an impressive streak.. I suspect Georgia might make a run at it if Kirby stays long enough..

You’ve been saying for a decade, sooner or later you might be right.

Of course people have been saying that for over 50 years and weren’t right either, so you’re hardly alone.

Georgia and Ohio State are going to make a run at it. Georgia is at 7 years.

I mean, could be worse.

Could have 3 first rounders and still finish 3rd in our division.

Actually, after this year Alabama has the record with 16 straight years a player taken in the 1st round.

quote:

- Alabama has had at least one player selected in the first round of 16 straight drafts (2009 – present), which is the NCAA record. The Crimson Tide surpassed the previous record held by Miami (1995-08) with 14 consecutive first round draft picks.

- Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban holds the NCAA record for the most first round draft picks in a career at 52 and for the most first-round picks from a single school at 47. The next closest coach in each of those categories is the late Joe Paterno with 33 first-round picks in both his career and from a single school (Penn State).

- Since 2000, the Crimson Tide has produced an NCAA-leading 49 first-rounders, a number that is 11 better than the next closest school Ohio State (38).

- Since 2010, the Crimson Tide has had an NCAA-leading 46 players selected in the first round, a number that nearly doubles the next closest school Ohio State (25).
