Les Miles isn't a top 15 coach. He's an offensive coach that consistently fields bad/inept offenses.
Is that why he is the only coach in SEC History to have (2) 1,000yrd+ receivers, 1,000yrd+ rusher, and a 3,000yrd+ QB in a single season? Oh he also fielded 4 rookies that started in NFL, one making offensive rookie of the year and making the cover of Madden?
Do you even high school coach baw?

Im shocked people are hating on Fuente. He won 10 games in Memphis. Anytime that is done, regardless of situatuon, that is a great job.
He did it in year 3, when he took over the program 2 years ago, the job was as much of a dumpster fire as you'll ever find. Porter had left talent in spots on defense, but other than that, an absolute mess.
I can say confidently I'd rather have fuente over shaw, spurrier, and richrod.
Ranking HCs that have done great things in one place and mediocre things other places like spurrier, cutcliffe, and richrod is always a weird spot. How much do you weigh their lackluster results vs the good?

Based on what? He has been a major college head coach for two seasons. One season was very good and nearly great and one was disappointing. I would say the jury is still out until he becomes a consistent winner.

Maybe the single worst list I have seen this off-season

LSU had them beat. That is what matters.
If LSU had Alabama beat how come the win registered in Alabama's column and not LSU's?
Contrary to popular belief, football is a 60-minute game. LSU was ahead in the game through about 59 minutes. Unfortunately for them they forgot to play football for the remaining 60 seconds.

The fact that les miles is not on that list is an absolute joke. Les Miles makes less poor in-game decisions than Saban.
Les is 3-6 vs. Saban. The days of him being comparable passed in 2012.

Well, his body of work as a head coach is significantly smaller than most on that list. That's probably the main reason. Also, winning at Auburn isn't as hard as winning at some of the other places.

So he loses the games before they're played due to poor planning?

And yet couldn't win the SEC West.

Pinkel is deserving. He does more with less.

Having Justin Fuente on that list and not having Hugh Freeze is dumb since they I herited similar situations and Freeze has a winning record AND turned around a team while the West was at its peak

And Bama has a NFL loaded Roster and gets embarrassed by Big Game Bob Big12 and Big 10 teams in prime time.

Les said he gives zero fricks about being on a list.

First off I don't know who Fuente is. All I know is that spurrier won the Acc at duke now I suppose that is mediocre to you.

Not sure why peeps are arguing who is better between Les and Saban... As things stand right now Saban has done better.
The thing that is ridiculous is that Les is not on the top 15 list at all. Man averages 10 wins/year in the SEC West over a 10 year span. Has a natty and played for another. HAS NEVER LOST in an OOC regular season game in 10 years, despite playing some very good competition. Worst season is 8 wins.
But I hope the other SEC coaches are sleeping on Miles like this writer is. I think this year could be really special if we get the good bounces

True, but Snyder is the real king of "more with less". He owes Pinkel, I hate to say.
No Les? Briles, Shaw and Cutcliffe are a little high. OBC is way too low.
No Stoops, Gundy or Sumlin. Funny!

Just like LSU.
We still won the SEC and were up 21-6 on the eventual national champs before we let the game get away from us. I would hardly call 42-35 getting "embarrassed" and the same goes for the loss to OU. We were down 38-31 when McCarron fumbled the ball deep in our own territory.
The difference is, Saban puts the team in a position to compete for national championships. Miles, despite top five/top ten recruiting classes every year, can't win the SEC West.

OU's talent is not on the same planet as Bama and lost to a coach that is notorious for the inability to win in the post season.
It was supposed to be a blowout by Bama.

Saban - SEC Champion - 3
Miles - SEC Champion - 2
