That's 2 out of 17 first round draft selections under Saban.

Bama has produced 47 NFL Draft picks under Nick Saban.

Also, what's wrong Dee Milner?

Was he hurt last year? He recorded one assisted tackle for the season.

My bad. I shouldn't have just picked 2 Bama players. I was really just trying to show that being a 1st round pick doesn't always equal NFL Production (which Bama has probably had the most recently)

Out of all of the Bama fans who don't care about NFL success, Tuscaloosa cares the least by far.

Why does this only include first round picks?

Those posters are selling points to recruits, not guys leaving for the draft. Being a 1st rounder may not equal NFL production (like being a 4 or 5* may not equal college production, though no one blames the HS when that happens), but it does equal big NFL paycheck with a lot of guaranteed money.

Absolutely. And I have zero problem with Bama pimping the hell out of that. I thought this was a national writer talking about NFL Production, and I was just saying I didn't think it was the best way to show that.

Fwiw, I think it's pretty dumb to call this the top talent producers in the NFL, and then only include 1st round draft picks. It doesn't come remotely close to showing a college's ability to put players in the draft or show their successes in the league (see: Milliner, Dee or Richardson, Trent)
This! If first round talent meant NFL players, then we would still have J Russell playing qb somewhere in the NFL, etc.

I think Bama/LSU are only ahead of UGA with players in the NFL, and that is only just barely, like a player or two more.

I think it's worth mentioning that LSU had 7 that should have been in the 1st round, if it weren't for La'el's ex being killed...

Texas A&M deserves better than Kevin Sumlin.

Von Miller, Tannehill, Joeckel, Matthews, Manziel, Ogbuehi and Evans were all Sherman recruits. Sumlin's lone 1st round pick he recruited was DJ Hayden when he was at Houston.
