I wouldnt have left Mosley off. I think hes gonna be yalls best LB to come out of Bama in a while. He does it all

Hightower is just as good. McClain made an argument for NFL comback player of the year. Upshaw has been solid at times for Baltimore. Nico Johnson has found a home with the Bengals. Lots of good former Alabama LBs.

LSU has four players on it. Pretty crazy Leslie didnt win a national championship with those studs.

We've got a sophomore punter that's better than Brad Wing

They must have had some outstanding coaching while at Bama

Is this the Kevin Steele angle now? He was at Alabama in 2007, 2008, and 2014. Smart coached them as much, if not more, among those listed.

Not really. Hightower cant cover a soul. He's big and slow. Id take Mosley over him any day of the week. Mosley is comparable to him right now and he was only a rookie.

He's 6-3 270. He's made for a 3-4 alignment. He does what he's asked in their scheme. Mosley is a completely different type of MLB.

oh really. according to PFF:

quote:

Hightower’s hugely impressive +27.1 overall grade was well earned; grading at +7.0 or above in all three major grade categories for the position – run defense, pass coverage, and rushing the passer. Hightower led all inside linebackers with 30 total pressures (including six sacks) giving him an impressive 16.1 Pass Rushing Productivity (PRP) score

How many Bama players are in it?

multiple Bama guys have been on the list before. Julio just turned 26, so he missed it by a month.

Marcel Dareus should have been on it, as should have Lacy. You could make a case for Fluker, Hightower, Mosley, etc.

So basically what you're saying is "boom"

This is the same Hightower that was fat and slow in 2011 and part of the reason Alabama wouldn't be able to stop LSU in New Orleans
