Did something like this last year and got some pretty good discussion and info before the season began....

LINK

So, who is making waves on your team this year?

For Auburn, I wanna start off with RB Jovon Robinson. Highlights out of high school

For a back his size (6' and I've heard about 215/220) he's got some serious speed and cutting ability. Really looking forward to seeing him on the field.

Side question to AU folks: think Chiz and co. may redshirt him?

Cool, so if you guys could maybe post some details, maybe a name or some videos, that would be good for the future of this thread

He kinda carries the ball like a loaf of bread, doesn't he?

His running style reminds me of Mark Ingram. Good center of gravity and very shifty.

I have high hopes for Jovon Robinson and Cassanova McKinzy.

They should both jump in and compete for playing time.

Dorial-Green Beckham. I dont think he really needs and introduction

But a player that Im sure none of yall have heard of is Markus Golden. JUCO linebacker/rush end. Saw him play in high school and he is a BEAST and absolutely relentless. heard he is extremely dumb though so idk how long itll take him to pick things up

Shaq Roland should see some serious playing time this fall at WR. He was Mr. South Carolina Football, the top rated high school recruit from SC.
Also at WR, red-shirt soph. Shamier Jeffery, Alshon's younger brother.
Red-shirt soph. OL Brandon Shell could make a big impact and would have been our biggest pickup in his recruiting class had it not been for Clowney.
On the defensive side maybe Chaz Elder or Jordan Diggs, both 4 star DBs.

Good stuff. I'll pick this back up in the morning. I really would like to see what Auburn is going to be facing in the near future.

I don't think so. Mods have hinted that he'll have a role this season. And wow, I haven't seen those highlights, he's alot more shifty and quick than I thought, especially for a 220lbs kid. I'm excited about him.

If we're just talking about true freshmen, others to look out for include WR Ricardo Louis ( Very Good HS Tape) and LB Cassanova McKinzy, who will backup Holland in the middle.

WR is where we need the most help and we signed an excellent WR class with high end stars like Amari Cooper and Chris Black. Who knows if we can develop them though.

Silas Redd

Leading rusher in the Big Ten. USCw thinks they have their recruitment for this kid in the bag but they're about to be sorrily mistaken.

Well, he isn't a freshman but he's a new to us:

Jay Prosch, 6'0 250lb fullback. Transferred from Illinois where he was named as a first-team All-American. He won't have the rant's beloved "stats" to quantify the impact he makes on this year's squad, but he might have the biggest impact on the production of our offense this year. I have high expectations for this guy

Tyler Wilson has said to look out for JUCO transfer WR Demetrius Wilson and freshman WR Keon Hatcher. Frosh TE Demetrius Dean will get some playing time and is next in line of great Arkansas TE's.
