Dale helped him grow into an all-time great and a multiple champion. With Arkansas level coaching he'd have maybe ended up just another pos average player who loses in the first round every year like Joe Johnson.

The story is about a friendship between Shaq and Dale and how much Shaq respects LSU and Dale Brown for helping to develop him into the dominating force that he was in the NBA.
I think you are just bitter because Nolan Richardson has told a story of racism and discrimination that he suffered in his time with the racist pigs (pun intended) at Arky.

nolan loves the hogs hence him showing up at nearly every game, he's been honored and honored and honored again. it's mutual we love him too. oh and he was hugely successful.

Just ask Nolan.....he was the National Championship coach who melted down and was fired by that racist POS only to see Houston Nutt get an extension the following year (we all know how that ended).

It was covered in the story and Shaq did not let it bother him because of the support he received from the students/fans and Dale. It is sad the racist pigs from the hills of Fayetteville Ar. didn't give Nolan the same support at the time.

How can an Arkansas fan call any states governor racist when Eisenhower had to send the troops in whenever yall governor refused to follow a supreme Court ordered integration of schools that was the responsibility of the district courts to enforce. That racist pos called on state forces to try to block it. Learn some history

Typical rant idiots. Shaq is one of the most popular athletes of all time. No one who knows him dislikes him. He came back & got his degree. He's never been arrested or charged with drug use, domestic/child abuse, every yr he takes disadvantaged children for a huge shopping spree in a local toy store, had snow trucked in for a terminally ill child who wanted to play in snow before he died, loves & supports his university ( paying generously for the then new alumni hotel & office on campus.) etc etc etc. Name me more than a very small couple of former college athletes who have done half of what he's done. Course, these are the same ranters who mock Tebow & turn around & love their POS running backs/defensive tackles/backs with multiple criminal issues.
