Actually quite frequently. Probably about 90% of the time. Every RPI, FPI, F+ metric thread over the past 8 months.

From Auburn's standpoint I think they are going to actually play defense by tackling the other teams offensive players before they get 20, 30 or 40 yds downfield...just a guess.

Why should I take the 5 minutes from my day?
Here is how it works, I provide 20 quotes that say things like "Steele was the reason Bama did (insert defensive strategy that was successful here)"

Then you guys make statements likeLSU - "well those 20 fans don't represent our whole fanbase".

Then I go get 20 more and you say the same thing again

Then I go get 20 more and you start attacking Chavis

You're going to waste most of your day on here anyway so it won't kill you to provide just one quote. Not 20 or 15 or 10. Just one.

Bobo was running Richt's offense he was running at FSU which is pretty much a pro-style offense with some spread/shotgun formations. Shottenheimer ran a pro-set in the NFL so I'm not expecting much of a change though we will probably see more involvement with TE's.

Not much change in Athens. Schott is actually learning the terminology of the existing offense so the players won't have to learn all new. Then he'll make his subtle changes.

Ditto in Fayetteville with Enos.

Mike DeBord is obsessed with the waggle play. Get ready.

Make you a deal. Just find one quote this weekend. You have until Monday morning to produce just one quote of an LSU fan saying Steele basically ran Bama's defense or whatever it is you think you read. That shouldn't be too hard since you think it was all over the SECr, right?

DB coach Grady Brown is no longer a "coach". He is moving to an off-field position.

Way to shite all over a legit thread. Making claims that you, literally, cannot back up with even one quote? You should ban yourself for being a retard.

To answer the OP:

I expect Steele, along with coach O, to bring a more aggressive style D back to LSU. Chavis is one of the best, but he's so conservative in his scheme. If you don't have an elite pass rush, or a once in a generation talent like Mathieu, you just don't get many turnovers in his system.

The play of LSU's front 7 has been mediocre, at best, the past 2 years. Hopefully a more aggressive scheme will help LSU pressure the QB and force more turnovers. I also expect LSU's linebacker play to pick up considerably. I'm still not sold on Steele as a DC, but there's no denying that he can coach up LBs.

Debord has a zone blocking scheme background which we already use. He is going to run butch's playbook and use our current terminology.

He likes to push the ball down field when he passes so I think we'll see less bubble screen's and more vertical routes.

I wouldn't be surprised if we incorporate going under center for short yardage situations.

Should be a nice mix of the two philosophies.

An SEC Championship winning combination.

This makes no sense.

Your stupidity combined with your weird obsession with LSU/Chavis make you one of the worst posters on this site. That's quite an achievement.
