The new SEC referee actually called holding on Bama OL.
Certainly Steve Shaw will carefully review the game for inconsistancies with Ritter and Wager games.

Dude we are one of the most penalized offense in the SEC. What point are you trying to prove?

That wasn't the first holding penalty on Alabama this year.

That's why you have to do direct deposit. If that check bounces, you never know what a ref might do.

Hmmm... only 2 holding calls in SEC games all year that were enforced and on plays that only netted a combined 11 yards.

Rec has instructed the refs as to how and when to call it so as to pad the penalty stats to make it look like a fairly officiated game now. Bastards are clever.

Not one of those occurred during a huge gain. Timing of holding calls is important as a holding call can be much more costly on a huge gain. Bama doesn't get these calls.

I'm smarter than I look.

Which is to say I'm not quite a complete idiot. Most of the time anyway.

You don't think that this one was important in a one-score game?

Bama has been called for holding 11 times in SEC play and the opponents have been called for ZERO. On tennessee's last td yesterday the WR was holding the entire play. Go back and watch the play
