I don't think people understand the muscles that are required to jump a horse in a way that makes it look graceful and effortless.

Does your wife still ride? It's one of my favorite things to do, but you have to stay pretty dedicated to keep it up. It's not like picking up a tennis racket and finding a court or throwing on a pair of running shoes.

Yes, she still does it but more of a hobby than a serious competition sport where she's trying to raise World Champions left and right.
