Just out of morbid curiosity I Googled "Catholic student centers not named after Catholic saints or priests". The first link was "whogivesafrick.com".
Idid the same thing and a Pediatric Colonoscopy Clinic came up in Baton Rouge. WTF!

The joke is because Louisianans act like southern stereotypes only apply to other states (namely Alabama) and not their own

The fact that Saban has a church and rec center named after him, it could be that he is thinking of staying at Bama a while.

Does Saint Nick have to confess his sins of cursing to the priest?
Posted on 1/10/16 at 10:43 pm to farmer brown
Saint Nick sins rarely. Plus he has many get out of hell cards.

It's not a sin if Nick Saban does it son.

Why you gotta paint all Yankees with a broad brush? I'm from the North and since I've been down in Florida I haven't seen anybody down here hump their sisters. If you've ever been up to parts of upstate New York or Vermont you see the same type of living conditions. It's mainly a socioeconomic thing that people from one region pick on another, but they never look in their own back yard. IOW, they shouldn't be throwing stones from a glass house.

ETA: I'm Catholic, and never once in my entire life have I seen a student center named after something other than the church it's connected to. That's thr point here. Seeing as how 99.9% of Alabama is Protestant I wouldn't really expect y'all to understand what I'm saying
Pretty sure Fayetteville's is the Newman Center and the church is St. Thomas Aquinas.

I don't think you are going to get too many people who disagree with you on that account. The big problem with that was it was ignored by the highest of positions at the Vatican. As much as people like to complain about the government, and there are many on this site, at least the Federal government and Interpol got involved and started to show its teeth and arrest and prosecute those in the church that are guilty of the abuse. Actually there have been cases where the priest convicted in Boston have been murdered in Massachusetts prisons. I don't want to say I'm glad to hear a priest get killed, but those individuals had it coming to them. When a powerful institution within a society has the ability to cover up decades of sexual abuse on children, those guilty have karma to look forward to.
