For the safety of the players, no team can make a shot attempt until after they have possessed the ball for 10 seconds. This will give the slower defensive players a chance to get set up and make sure they don't have to hustle to prevent a easy basket.

If basketball subbed new players in after each trip down the court that might make sense.

But they don't, so your post is dumb.

Next time, consider a 10 second rule before posting.

Aren't we concerned about the safety of all athletes and not just football players? I know this sounds dumb, but so does the HUNH proposed rule.

Auburn fans sure are mad about something that really won't affect them.

I really don't give a shite what rules pass and which ones don't at this point. They've already fricked the game up by constantly tinkering with the rules. Having said that, there is absolutely no way of supporting the HUNH changes without just putting a "P" for pussy on your forehead. When the hell did "I don't wanna get hurt." or "I don't wanna get in shape." become an excuse to change the rules. The game is degrading and getting soft, whether it's the HUNH changes, targeting or a host of other rule changes.
