These early season polls are completely based on hype. Clemson is a pretty hyped team this year and a lot of it is legit with D Watson returning. They have looked good in both of their games.
Of all the things to complain about, I don't think Clemson at 11 is one of them. If anything you could make a case they should be ranked higher.
Clemson defense has looked better than the offense so far this season. Everybody has said we wouldn't have a defense this year.
I think there was much more justification prior to the season for Clemson to be ranked in top 10 than Auburn, who lost a lot of star players on offense and had 5 losses last year and a bad defense.
Makes much more sense than SC being ranked in top 10 last year, the first year without Shaw and Clowney.
