Actually only one part of that is ridiculous.

Absolutely ridiculous. Whoever made this computer formula should be embarrassed.

USC is getting punished for playing a weak OOC schedule. They only played 6 Q1 games...Florida had played 11 Q1 games. It is what it is, but the NET looks at who you play and get rewarded/punished for the schedule.

Benefitted from mostly weak OOC schedule and got a break only playing the other top SEC teams once each. (Until UT rematch)

How is it possible for Carolina to be in the 40s NET? They’re 10-3 in Q1/2 games

Until last night, we were also the only one of the top 4 that had a road win.

The model is stupid. Florida went up a ranking for losing a hard-fought road game, while USC stayed pat. Square that circle.

Those rankings are dated 03/02. Are we sure those rankings reflect Saturday’s games?
