Me and the wife are going to come to the TN/Auburn game this year. Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated. We will probably stay 2 nights, so if there is anything else to do in the area feel free to inform me, never been there before. Also best location to get a hotel, best way to grab tickets, etc.
I know you guys will drum us. But i have always wanted to catch a game there. Seems like a great gameday atmosphere.

If you don't have a hotel yet, better just check Montgomery or Columbus.

Just asking, because the best place to stay is the conference center, but price throws that out for a lot of people.
I suggest you look down college street towards I-85, there are several name brand hotels. Holiday inn express has openings a lot. Or Up I-85 to exit 58, Tiger Town, several name brand hotels here, just have to drive into town

Sure as long as Auburn wins, otherwise its illegal

However if you dont mind spending some money, again the conference center is the place to stay for gamedays. A two night game weekend with be $1100-1400 for a general room for the weekend with taxes and fees.

Start looking now. Start around Tiger town, it's right off I-85. Plenty of shops and food. Downtown Opelika has some nice local eateries and out of the gameday crowds. Hope you enjoy your weekend, looking forward to it myself.

If you don't find anything in the Auburn area that is reasonable, check out the motels on the East side of Montgomery. I stay at the Mitylene exit. Easy drive to Auburn on gameday, provided you leave early. Looking forward to this one as well.

as an earlier poster said i would look off 85 around tiger town. some new hotels were just built off the exit in the last year. do dinner at amsterdam if you get a chance. or acre if you can get in.
