Like auburn fans connect with auburn because they work on a farm or had sex with an animal?

So because youre Catholic you get a pass? Weak. Most Bama fans have an actual connection. They live in the state.

There's a direct relationship: The more a team loses, the less sidewalk fans they have.

Report stating ND has had over 100k ticket requests compared to Bama's 42k.
1988 - last Notre Dame team in a MNC game
1992 - Alabama
2009 - Alabama
2011 - Alabama
2012 - Alabama
I think it is less Jesus and more just pent up demand

^^This. I know about 150 Gumps and less than 10 actually attended the university.
Awfully strange considering UA has a larger enrollment and has produced far more grads over the years than the Mississippi State Community College down Highway 82.

their growing fanbase is correlated to the Pope's policy on contraception. millions of potential Bama fans regularly die in the reservoir tip.

who cares how many requests were made? each school still only gets a set number, which is way lower than even Bama s request number, of tickets anyway.
And notre Dame needs not to request too many, since most of the tickets will be distributed to the families of Regis Philbin and Lou Holtz anyway.
