Womens NCAA regionals

11 SEC teams participating with play starting this Thursday. The top 6 teams in each regional advance.

#5 seed - Florida
#8 seed - Alabama
Individual - Manuela Carbajo - Georgia

South Bend Regional Site

#4 seed - Tennessee
#9 seed - Auburn

St. George Regional Site

#2 seed - Arkansas
#5 seed - Vanderbilt

Nice list.

How stacked is the conference this year, I've not really kept up.

Must be stacked...11 teams made it in. I did not think UK Women's team had a chance getting in.

Both Gamecock men and women's teams are #1 seeds.

I like the Ladies' chances much better ... closer to home.

Let's go Gamecocks!

Pretty stacked. The girls are a little stronger than the men nationally. 8 of the top 20.

4. USCe
7. LSU
8. Arkansas
9. A&M
12. MSU
13. Tennessee
16. Vandy
20. Florida
26. Bama
29. Auburn

I don't understand the strategy by lumping so many good SEC teams with each other, but maybe the Raleigh course is perceived as an easier course.

Both LSU's men and women are in the top 8, so I'm hoping for a big run for at least one of the two. Golf is all about who's hot, so I like the men's chances at making a big run.

The NCAA did the pairings and they screwed us a bit by doing that. They should have had no more than 4 per conference in each regional.

It's an extremely competitive region. Both LSU and State have been in the top 3 at some point in the year. To give those two that draw is outrageous

It's all about travel distance when it comes to the women.

If you'll check-out how the other conferences were seeded and where they'll be playing you'll see it's similar through the field ... although the SEC is the most heavily represented of all the conferences.

The SEC has gradually taken over golf ... it used to be the ACC.

We're traveling to Utah for our regional while the #2 seed in San Antonio is Washington. You would think they would have swapped those two.

Like the other sports like baseball, so nice when you can play a good portion of the year.

Good Luck to all the SEC Teams.
