I found one of the guy's old Ebay listings.

Ebay user name is shoejunky85. It was in the photos WBRZ used in their story last night.

Description for a posting from last year -- June 2013:

100% Authentic Nike LSU Vapor Fly Bowl Game Gloves. These Are Team Issued Only To LSU Team Members. Sz 3XL. (Run Small). Worn By A Skill Position Player.

LINK

Timeframe would rule out Fournette as his soul source of product. Jeremy Hill is a Baton Rouge kid so that wouldn't shock me too much if he used somebody he knew locally to sell his stuff.

Could be somebody on the equipment staff for all we know. I have no idea how tightly schools monitor equipment.

Players have given my kids used gloves, wristbands, etc. after games. Are my kids now quilty of possession of stolen goods?

The player getting $ may be bad with the NCAA, but arresting the seller just seems stupid.

It's stupid, I'm with LSU on this one. Kid should be allowed to sell his shoes.

For how much? If your answer is "as much as he can get" then you got a problem. All of a sudden that becomes paying players. Plus, as mentioned already they are not his shoes, so....

Maybe the player gave a kid some gloves after the game and they decided to make some money on it. There is no rule about giving gloves wristbands away.
What that person does after they receive the stuff has nothing to do with the player

If the player (now a professional athlete) is innocent and did nothing wrong this guy would have given up the name of this cheater.

True, but then why would the guy overtly and vocally clam up and go to jail if that were the case?

Why didn't the guy just tell the cops that he was taking the 5th. His right against self incrimination. No obstruction of Justice Charge

LSU going to vacate the Ole Miss win. It's a text book case of rules violation.

The action occurred after the game, it is not possible to vacate that win, maybe the Alabama loss though

He didn't know because Louisiana cops don't hold with that whole Miranda and reading them their rights nonsense?

For what?

A player sold or gave cleats and gloves to someone. That person put them on EBAY. LSU saw it and reported the theft to the police.

LSU is clear if and only if they find out who the player is then he would be ineligible.
