What a screw job!

Minnesota only has 3 losses, has beaten numerous ranked teams, and is currently ranked #2 in the human polls. And #1 overall seed has to face either them or their softball rival. Wow.

Moo State to Utah. That means no fans. Too far to drive their tractors.

Minnesota is 2-2 versus the top 25.

Donno if 2 = numerous.

The one matchup Florida was afraid of.

This isn't the Alabama team that won it all a few years ago.

They're good, but UF can handle them.

Both teams have to get through their regionals first.

While both should win, let's not count our chickens before they're hatched.

Mizzou was 3 games over .500....11th in their own conference but ended up a 2-seed in their regional. 5 Top 10 wins, 6 Top 15 wins, 9 Top 25 wins. That SEC schedule...

But they played Oregon twice in Columbia earlier this year and got roughed up.

The real question is do any of the NCAA umpires working tourney play have the nerve to call illegal pitch on Barnhill. Easy to win when you can leap, replant and pitch from 6 feet closer.

Arkansas has 22 losses this year... only 4 of which are OOC. The SEC is insane this year.

Big congratulations to the entire conference (except Vandy who doesn't have a team) for making the post season. This has been an amazing year for the SEC in softball.

I don't follow softball. I'll tune in occasionally or check the standings/polls, but that is a dick move to match up SEC teams. I'm sure it happens frequently, but, like I said, I don't follow softball.

And the NCAA is keeping its dumb trend of matching (or attempting to, thanks UNI) A&M and tu at every opportunity.

Quick thoughts:

Florida-Alabama Super Regional sucks, committee! Both are WCWS caliber teams and will walk through their regionals.

A&M hosting all Texas teams including the Longhorns. Texas State is the dangerous one in that region, but A&M should come out.

Tennessee got the easiest regional, and guess what - NCAA matches UT and A&M up in a Super!

Ole Miss hosts but got the toughest regional. UNC and Arizona State have good teams. If Ole Miss gets out they would have to go to UCLA.

LSU-Florida State Super Regional is a good matchup

South Carolina - you got in. Bad news is that you are going to Tucson.

Arkansas can beat Oklahoma. Watch out there.

Auburn got a tough draw with Cal

Mississippi State headed to Utah. That's not the worst matchup for them.

Kentucky got a favorable matchup but Missouri didn't.

Host teams with the exception of Ole Miss and Auburn got good draws. Arkansas and Mississippi State have winnable regions on the road.

You know I am good with them not having a team just in case the whistler is a softball fan.

There are 6 SEC teams with a legitimate shot at winning the title. 5 of them are on one side of the bracket. One of them, Auburn, is on the other side (the Pac 12 side).

It seems intentional to try to have a PAC 12 v SEC final.

And, Go Princeton Tigers! We are in the tournament!

Um, you do realize 8 SEC teams are hosting right? There's not really much way around getting matched up in supers.
