This Vandy game is why they need a mercy rule during the NCAA tourney. Vandy's head isn't in this game, this could go on for a long time.

Yeah, the black-bear v tulane game is pretty good.
Ole Miss seems to have the momentum now though.
Nice strikeout by the ole miss relief pitcher to finish the inning.

Losing a teammate has to be tough on Vandy. Xavier maybe setting a record for runs in an inning...13 so far.

Good base running by Tulane. This is a fun game, as the balls are really flying at swayze field.
Sounds like a decent contingent of tulane folks made the trip as well.

What happens if this game doesn't get going in Baton Rouge soon? Can they start a game in BR at 10pm for the LSU game? There needs to be what, 45 minutes in between games?

I don't know if there is a specific time requirement between games, but the stadium does have to clear completely between games. I think that's where most of the time comes from.

I recall a few Regional games being moved to Monday for similar weather situations in the last few years.

I think 10:59 is the cutoff for starting a game, but that doesn't mean they will start a game that late. Not looking good that baseball will be played here. Lafayette is in the position.

FWIW, the storm that hit you all last night/today is about to hit us and screw us up tonight/tomorrow. We may all be finishing our games on Monday.
