He just needs to file a lawsuit in court. Claim that the NCAA is denying him the ability to make a living. Based on precedent surely he will win. The NCAA can not restrict someone from making money. He will then have his show cause scrapped and he will be able to sue Tennessee and Phillip Fulmer.

Sue them for him getting caught paying players and breaching his contract? Bold strategy

Did you not hear? The NCAA has been completely neutered. They don’t have any power any longer. They can’t enforce rules that restrict people from making money. It is unconstitutional. And if they try, the courts will rectify things. I know because I have read it here in multiple threads from multiple people.

Technically programs can hire coaches with a show cause penalty. But the coach carries with them restrictions and sanctions to their next team.
Alabama could hire Pruitt but the NCAA could levy punishments for Pruitt onto the program making it not worth it.
So technically, the NCAA isn’t restricting any coaches from making money as they can be hired by anyone.
