Oh I would LOVE to do that too but that situation has WAOM written all over it. I have no doubt we could and probably would win the series but State has a chance to get hot at the right time and get to Omaha

Sure it has the chance and that would suck, but we've got to quit playing and acting like we have our tail between our legs. It's the reason we keep choking. I welcome them coming here, it means we'll host a Super, and I want to beat them to get to Omaha so bad. I would fight every State fan I saw in the outfield

No SEC teams in that regional so no possibility of the SEC getting that CWS slot. With 10 teams in and 8 possible Supers the SEC should really have no dead regions yet they have no possibility of advancing in 25% of the CWS slots.
Go back 2 years and you had all 3 SEC teams in the bottom bracket of the CWS and none in the top.

Florida and South Carolina (SEC) had to meet in the 1st (painting one with the early loss.
I always think you should reseed at the CWS so teams from the same conference can not meet in the first games of the CWS.

The committe did the SEC zero favors. UF gets screwed with the toughest 4 and a tough bracket total. OM gets a nightmare bracket. National seed LSU gets a top 15 RPI team as a 2 seed and a solid 4. Arky sent to UVA. 2 dead super brackets which is bullshite. While TCU and FSU get virtual cake walks to the supers.

I kinda feel bad for Rice. They didn't necessarily get a tough draw between us and Texas as far as quality teams but aside from game 1 all of their games are probably going to feel like away games

ARky should have been the 2 at okie lite and Bama the 2 or 3 at Cal Poly then we would have zero dead brackets.
