well yeah???? Why wouldnt you be? Ask David Johnson why the NCAA is still interviewing OM recruits? Thats not a standard practice no matter what anybody says. Literally OM people are the only people dumb enough to believe that. NCAA investigations take awhile- shite your 1st one is at 3 years now- why would the 2nd be finished already???

Has Ole Miss been notified of a second investigation?

of course they have

I'd like to see proof of that. It was a breaking story when we were notified of the first. Why not the second though?

It was actually 2 years between OM being notified on the 1st one and it breaking- the investigation started in 2012- documented- yet didnt break publically until 2014

I still don't remember it breaking as a totally separate investigation. It was all under one from what I can recall. If you're referencing the Forde article, that moron was reporting about the investigation that had been going on since 2012.

I love how when you state something about OM and the Ncaa they turn to Simmons and now they add a simple assault ( which I don't even know the details) to a "He beat the shite out of someone."

The investigation started in 2012- fact
It was never reported publicly until 2014- fact
Of course the 2nd letter isnt public- it will be awhile

Anfernee is a player on campus and if he did wrong and the facts state so I guarantee you Mullen will deal with him.

It was never reported publically until 2014- fact

ok- we agree the investigation started in 2012= altho that actually cant be disputed.
Please show me any kind of link from anywhere that acknowledged the investigation before Forde's article in 2014. Anything? Come with it.
And just like then- it will take awhile for the next round of allegations to go public. But I assure you- they are coming

Henry you yourself must admit that this Ncaa investigation into OM has been a very long one. When there is nothing there it does not last this long. And I am telling you right now it has to do with a number of boosters, past coaches and yes, at least one current coach. And it also deals with grade fixing to get kids qualified.
But let me add this while on the subject. It's true that in recent years guys who grew up MSU fans and / or long time commits switched to Ole Miss before signing day and as you know when asked, the response was "It's just business" and/or posts on facebook with these kids holding up money etc and the page taken down within 10 hours after all the talk asking what was up with that. I think you know deep down inside you have a booster issue.

That's what started the entire investigation.

That link just suggest more accademic issues only now it's womems basketball. You better know it's just a sign of a bigger problem in OM athletics.

No it didnt. The football stuff was totally separate. And you damn sure didnt see anything about it until 2014 from Forde- and even then your fanbase kept saying it was a women's sports issue.
Your school was being investigated about football in 2012- fact.
It was not acknowledged publicly until 2014.

Don't you just love how when Nutt was stealing our recruits at the last minute too and getting guys who had better offers and OM fans said back then "You guys are just jealous because Nutt is a great recruiter."
Now the same Ole Miss fans throw him and his staff under the bus claiming the current investigation has nothing to do with current coaches etc, it's all on Nutt cheating. Lmao
I can't honestly say Nutt was a cheater anymore than I can say that about Freeze. However what I do see is institutionalized cheating via big boosters who used their money, job offers to parents, businesses run by Ole Miss boosters etc etc to buy these recruits.

CJ Johnson recruitment investigation in 2013
So was the CJ Johnson recruitment investigation/questioning by the NCAA in 2013 totally separate from your 2014 public investigation as well?
If it was a totally separate investigation, then there would have been a separate letter for football instead of putting it together with women's basketball and track.

Hey C34, since you have all the answers and contacts within the NCAA can you please tell me how they even stumbled upon the whole Saunders deal?
Posted on 4/10/16 at 12:21 am to Henry Jones Jr
according to OM people- there was no investigation then- that was just a random everyday interview the NCAA does?
Posted on 4/10/16 at 12:25 am to ABearsFanNMS
Saunders was with Ole Miss more than once, your point? He cheated and got hammered but of course he was an angel during stints at Ole Miss.
