Only 24 out of roughly 2,000 NCAA programs made a profit last year. South Carolina was one of them. I know Florida and Georgia and I believe Alabama were the other SEC schools that made a profit.

Our AD was on the radio and said that different schools interpret "revenue" different ways.

So in other words, you AD pulled stuff out of his arse to cover for the fact that your revenue from licensing and other streams is not as much as some other SEC schools?

Most consistent team in the SEC under Richt, always very strong consistent wins.

Also, AU grads earn more than any school in the SEC by mid career (which is early 40's) except for UF grads which avg a little less than $2k per year more than AU grads.

Don't forget Vandy, which is much higher than all of the other SEC schools according to payscale

I doubt it... you may have been near breaking even, but very few schools even cover their expenses. Hell Ohio State's AD is bleeding money.

We make a lot of money on football. We make a lot of money on basketball. We are one of the few schools in the country that make money on baseball (typically).

We don't have that many money-losing programs compared to other schools, and we have practically no debt.

...and, the athletic department just donated $1 million to the university, just because.

Arkansas' AD makes money.

Yeah, I'm not sure how many of our sports actually make money(I know football does and I'm assuming men's basketball), but I know we've got to lose a lot. I mean, Ohio State has 36 Varsity Sports. The next closest to that is Michigan with 25(then Texas and UF with 20 each).

No way we're making money on most of it.

After reading that list... You have to respect South Carolina fans. They are the only school that has never won anything!
