...was this uninteresting?

There's usually at least 1 prominent team to generate a buzz.

The only buzz in this game is which teams has the most thugs.

Also...will this game finally end auburn's geographic obscurity?

I personally see it as being one of the more intriguing match ups of the last few years. Last years is a close second. If you like offense this is the game with you because it is going to shape up to being like Texas USC MNC in the sense the 4th quarter is going to be full of fireworks.

Stupid post. Only casual fans believe that a certain name on a jersey makes you better.

'07-LSU vs. Ohio State. Ohio State was one of the most mediocre one-loss AQ teams I've ever seen. LSU had two losses. The game was on Fox. Nobody cared.

don't get too upset that the ratings to this matchup will be akin to the SECCG... probably down 40-50% from last year's match up in the same game.

Dude you are gonna be surprised. This NC game has intrigue all over it. The ratings will be very high.

honestly, at this point i DO hope so. if the SEC is gonna get a black eye over it, we may as well make as much money as possible while doing so, right?

2 high powered offenses means more viewers. It will be a close game. Why do all the Bama fans think Auburn will kill them when the Auburn fans think it will be close?

BTW, you are seriously way too butthurt. Flame after flame after flame to TRY to make you feel better about the tadd getting its heart ripped out and embarrassed at home as usual by AU.

Not only that, you probably thought Bama's season last year was spectacular and unequaled, yet if AU beats Oregon, we will surpass all bama did last year. Tougher schedule, more quality wins, more impressive heisman winner, more post season awards, and on and on.

I understand it hurts, but flaming all the time just shows the jealousy and butthurt.

This isn't even close to the same situation as the SECCG.

We were going against a game that the entire nation was glued to.

There was more to last year's championship game than the name on the jerseys.

Basically it was assumed to BE the national championship game. Everyone knows the SEC = best.

1 v 2
Rematch from 2008
Revenge
Tebow v bama VER 2.0
Tebow greatest football player ever?
Ingram Heisman performance after the no-show v Auburn?

At least have the decency to admit that.

The ratings will be down just because the game will be on ESPN instead of ABC. The game itself is pretty intriguing.

Maybe so, but I think his point is no matter what Auburn does they will always play second fiddle to Alabama. Not Auburns fault, just the way it is.

You can say AU is second fiddle to bama and I can say we are not based on the fact we have been as good or better for decades...
