Honestly I don't use CBS Sports at all. I stay logged into TD and refreshed 247 team rankings from time to time. Grats on your CBS Championship!!

CBS only reported the ratings. utsports.com was #1 -- ain't CBS. The ratings aren't people who watched CBS Sports.

I seriously doubt TD got more hits that those schools. I don't know about the rest of the Unis but UTsports got all of those views for a reason: the coverage was better than ESPNu. Interviews, live feeds, LOI boards, all set up in a great format and the content was great. I started out watching the EspnU and switched over to UTsports even though I had no intention of switching since I wanted to watch the 'special' coverage. But the difference between the tow was like the difference an overused VHS tape and a BluRay player -- whoever set that up deserves a big raise. I've been to TD enough to where while I agree it's fun and informative, if they set it up like normal the comparison would be like comparing Commodore 64 vs. Alienware equipped with the new "Warsaw" 16 core (yes, 16 core!) processor or even the older i7 quad core which performs as though it has 8 cores. IOW it's just not close.

That said, if I get ahold of the internals that display the numbers I'll let you know the data. However even if TD had the same capabilities in coverage it's doubtful it would draw the viewers. TD is harder to find (the average LSU fan would know the school url and go there first whereas they have to do a search to find TD). TD also has far fewer resources than a major university. News articles aren't the same as live coverage with multiple player features either or a live LOI/Commit board and fax cam all arranged in a slick easy to use interface.

Still a great site but not the same as the NSD was covered by UTSports and others.
