I think UL, Miami, A&M, and UF will all be in the top 4 seeds (no order).

Mississippi St & Texas Tech are still locks regardless of tourney records this week.

Last week a lot thought NC St or UVA would get a host spot. I doubt many still do today.

LSU is probably the most deserving 4th SEC slot, if the SEC does indeed get 4 spots. Ole Miss has a very similar record and has the H2H win. Very close to call. Maybe today's games will matter.

Clemson is trying to make a late push for one as well.

TCU & ULL jumped in to the top 16 RPI, but neither have the resume to really be considered.

I thought about adding UCSB, but their RPI is still in the 20s (21) and they finished 3rd in the 8th ranked RPI conference.

With LSU and OM having basically the same resume, I assume the rest of this tourney might have a lot to do with it.

Imagine the melt this place is going to have if the SEC only gets 3 national seeds

Could happen.

I think LSU deserves a national seed (and the SEC probably deserves 6-7 spots), but I won't be angry if we don't get one. While we have certainly turned it on of late and may very well be the hottest team in the country, losing series to OM/State/A&M/Bama deservedly put us on the Top8 bubble.

That said, the NCAA owes us from erroneously leaving us out of the tournament a few years ago.

I agree with you. I think if OM or LSU win the Tourney there should be a NS in line. However, Life's not fair. State will be a NS and no matter if OM wins out, there will be NO NS. Remember, Cheaters never get a Break

Agree. Our total body of work doesn't scream national seed lock in my opinion

I think LSU has dome enough. Adding tournament games they have more SEC wins than anyone at this point.

Looking at it from the outside-in the resumes of ole miss and LSU speak for themselves. High Rpi high SOS more top wins than comparative other schools.

As d1 baseball thinks both deserve a top 8 seed and should get one.
But ole miss does have the series win against LSU.

Again I think Ole miss #7 and LSU #8 , the committee takes current trajectory into consideration and ole miss and LSU are two of the hottest teams in the country. LSU has gone 15-1! To put themselves in this position.

And ole miss beating Vandy and USC handily will be the deciding factor after resume comparisons between those 3

OM took the series from Louisville.

I hope that's taken into consideration.

OM cheat at baseball too or just football?

ETA: It's a legit question considering the current state of affairs at OM. Just curious, Mr. Downvoters mad ones.

Well we don't have state lottery scholarships and get an advantage over other schools by awarding outside the state players athletic scholarships, and in state players lottery scholarships.. Giving a distinct advantage in number and talent level of athletes.... Like other SEC schools

Meaning Bianco has to be real good at evaluating over other schools

Bianco is a better evaluator. Got it.

Steroids should be legal. 18 year olds should be able to put whatever they want in their bodies. It's a free country.

I think Grier was coking it up anyway.
