Bars and restaurants are jumping for joy with the invasion of BBN.

Not the employees.

The last time the SECt, and Final Four were in New Orleans, there were people down here that didn't give two shits about basketball, openly rooting against UK after how cheap they were during the SECt.

Right.

Because everything posted on this board is "news".

Funny. I heard the same thing when the Vols came to town for the bowl game a few months ago.

You kidding me? Everyone had their money saved up from the 3 seasons beforehand where we didn't go to a bowl

Not to mention, the beach was like a contest between Iowa and Tenn fans over which group could be pastier and fatter. Everyone lost. Including myself.

We welcome the UK fans. Bring your year of savings and spend it in our great city.

Well I'm sure they spent it on food. Not on tips apparently.

Yep, it the best when UK loses early, cheap tickets everywhere.
I go for the reverse of that. When KY is in the Championship Game you can sell your Sunday ticket for more than you paid for the whole book.

I've done that in both Atlanta and Nashville. Watched 3 days of Basketball and only money spent was on hotel, meals, and drinks. I made my ticket purchase back plus gas money.
