Not very realistic because the BCS won't let a rematch happen again in its last year.

If it were in Miami or something it would make more sense, but playing across the entire country isn't the same as playing in Jax for the two programs and fanbases.

Miami, that would be best place for it I think, with NOLA second.

I agree. Should just rotate between these two. frick the other regions.

The story of that rivalry has played out on the national stage for the last year and a half.

I haven't paid much attention to that story.

Then you haven't paid much attention to conference realignment, which is fine.

I was speaking more of in the case of UF and UGA. I would actually think rotating between NOLA and Pasadena would be best. No place is better at hosting big events than New Orleans, and the Rose Bowl is the most prestegious bowl due to history.

It is, but it also leaves little to be desired. When I was there the concessions were lousy, everyone was crammed in the place like sardines, and Pasadena just isn't a very entertaining city overall. New Orleans and Miami were overwhelmingly better. Hell Nashville is more fun than Pasadena.............. Pasadena fricking sucks.

I can understand that. I have never been so I can't speak from personal experience.
Set-up wise NOLA IMO is the best place for a NC game, or Super Bowl. Everything is centrally located. You take a cab from the airport, and you can walk everywhere. Plenty of hotels, bars, and restaraunts. Plus good music venues near-by.
I won't lie, I am a bit biased, but I still feel NOLA is the best place.

LSU vs Notre Dame

Bama vs tOSU

A+M vs Texas

The Tree and Quackers might both lose to UCLA if Hundley has a heisman type season

Since A&M has joined I have learned that all Texans have an inflated sense of how the rest of the country perceives that state.

I could see why A&M fans would love that matchup, especially since the Longhorns are pussies. However, most people in Oregon would tune in for a little bit just to make sure the Longhorns were getting their asses kicked.

Without even looking at your roster I know you lost too much to even be thinking that. Hundley has nothing coming back that I can remember in the way of skill guys and the oline was atrocious. The cupboard was left bare in regards to the oline too - that unit is not going from bad to great. I would expect decent. Likewise, 5 starters graduated on defense and OWA is lost for the season. Likewise, Fauria and Franklin, his best weapons, left.

There is a reason UCLA is on the outside looking in for top 25 consideration.

I only have two dream matchups:

Texas A&M vs. Michigan: My parents' respective alma maters going head to head for all the marbles. Grew up as a fan of both schools, and ended up attending one. Would be epic for personal reasons.

Texas A&M vs. texas: Obvious reasons. Would be the ultimate backyard brawl. The Great State of Texas would be a madhouse.

It's a fricking suburb, but you still have all of Los Angeles to enjoy at least (although I'm not really a huge fan of LA myself either).
