Something that has changed over the years - not for the better.

At Mississippi State, we had an awesome cafeteria in the mid-to-late 90s. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great. It was like eating a home cooked meal every night in college. Had an awesome Thanksgiving meal there before beating Ole Miss in 99.

Around 2003, the university contracted it out to Aramark. They corporatized it and the food became bland and awful. They have let that beautiful building go to shite.

From a game day standpoint, State has moved light years since I was in college. But I do miss Hank Flick (RIP) as PA announcer, especially for basketball. They keep hiring new people but cant get it right.

The grunginess of the strip. It's all nice and pretty now.

Louie's.... Once they changed locations from the place that had literally not closed since the 40's the vibe all changed. One of my favorite memories from LSU was scarfing hash browns at that diner counter at 4 am after parties, and it all came rushing back overtime I walked back in as an alum. When I walked into the new one, I midas well have been walking into a Denny's

I was going to say this and that I miss when the bars were allowed to stay open past 2 am. Big Shots on the strip was the place to go. Walk in with the sun up and walk out when the sun comes back up

This X1000. I knew a lot of people that took his class in college and they all said he was hilarious in class and always cracking crude jokes

About the only thing I can think of, is that they seem to be making all of the buildings look the same. I think it kind of started when I was there from 2006-2010, but it has ramped up since I left. I understand having a similar style, but even one style can have several variations. Alabama has just been using a cookie cutter.

The firing of Hank Flick still pisses me off today. It was not handled well by Byrne.

The students at Tennessee weren't always such a bunch of limp dick liberal pussies. That was always kinda nice.

I think there are a few bars that are allowed to stay open later but it is sort of a "membership" deal. I'm not sure how that works. Or maybe I just don't know which places stay open that late anymore.

Strom Thurmond fitness center. The amount of time playing basketball, lifting weights, playing sand volleyball, and being out by the pool were some of the best memories I had at Carolina.

I had typed out what I miss about my alma mater but deleted it because I don't want to get banned.
