There are at least 15 other RBs in the SEC that could look as good or better than Guice if they played for LSU.

Officially the dumbest thing I've ever read on the tRant.

Arkansas is in the same category. They have had a few truly talented backs, but whoever they line up will have succes.

They have a much more balanced offense under Bert. Jonathon Williams before his injury was the most talented back at Arky in a while. I hate he didn't get to play his last year he was really good. Collins was more of a product of Arkansas.

Every SEC school that recruits at a high level has 1 or 2 backs on their roster that are equal or better only delusional LSU fans are oblivious to this.

Fournette is the only RB in the SEC this year that is on another level as far as talent wise. Chubb when healthy is close. Then there is a group of about 10 to 15 backs that are all solid. Guice is somewhere in that pack.

I don't understand how LSU has the best player at every position and their backups at certain positions are better than other teams starters, but they still have a 4 loss team.

Well you're wrong here, Dore. Guice is an RB under Orgeron, the future hall of fame head coach of the LSU Crimson Tide.

All LSU rbs look good. They recruit O-linemen that run block well, but suck in pass pro. They run behind a full back and get lots of carries.
They get to the league and become career back ups or fumble machines like Jeremy Hill, Spencer Ware, and Steven Ridley.

They are the Wisconsin of the SEC. I wouldn't touch a RB from LSU

Ware------403------6-------0
Ridley------90------0-------0
Magee-------5------0-------0

one of the dumber statements I've ever seen on here. You are better than this

Please name 5 colleges with more NFL production at RB. Colleges that you would take a RB from

'll go on to be a 3rd or 4th rd pick in the NFL and hang around for a few years just like every other LSU back under Miles.

Ohio State

That will change when Leonard Fournette gets to the NFL, though.

Not one answer in this thread is correct. Derrius Guice is the 3rd best rb in the SEC right now. Jalen Hurd doesn't impress me too much, just being honest. Kamara is pretty good but not on Guice's level. Bama has good backs but I don't think they have one as good as Guice.

Not saying other SEC teams don't have good backs but Guice is better than them all besides Chubb. Michel would probably be the closest to Guice imo.

Again, all this is just my dumbass opinion.

You say that Guice is 3rd best in SEC. Then you turn around and say Guice is better than all RB's except for Chubb (who by the way has sucked this year outside of the game against UNC) and that Michel is closest to Guice. So what the frick is it; is Guice 1, 2, or 3 in your obviously schizo opinion?

Also, gotta go with Kerryon Johnson.

Cal had probably 2500 yards between Lynch Anderson and Forsett

Miami likely had around 2000 between Gore, Lamar Miller and Duke Johnson and I feel like I'm forgetting a back

I dunno about Ohio State. I would also take the players I listed from Cal and Miami over the group of LSU every day of the week. Alfred Blue in particular is atrocious

ETA Forgot Vereen went to Cal also

Spencer Ware has 3 fumbles already through 4 weeks. Jeremy Hill had an atrocious ypc last year. Like Trent Richardson bad. He fumbled away cincy's 1st playoff win in over decade.

Steven Ridley was cut from Pats because of all his fumbles. Even with deflated New England/Brady football.

Less yards than LSU trio, less TDs than Jeremy Hill alone

You have a right to your opinion no doubt. I'm just using production and responding to the post "I wouldn't touch LSU running backs."
Obviously It's not a bad move to draft LSU running backs if you want production at the RB position

He said he thinks Guice is better than all other SEC teams running backs besides Chubb.
That would mean 1 LF, 2 Chubb, 3 Guice.

Pretty straight forward. Not saying I agree, but he has an argument

The backs we have at SC are really good, just hard to get anything behind well meaning mannequins up front.

A freshman you guys may all hear about soon, Rico Dowdle, averaged like 6ypc behind our horrendous oline up the middle. Kid will be a stud.
