How much will his production drop off next season since Chavis is notorious for having talented defensive ends underachieve?

Some examples:
Barkevious Mingo - 4.5 Sacks Jr Year
Sam Montgomery - 8 Sacks Jr Year
Danielle Hunter - 2 Sacks Jr Year
Rahim Alem - 4.5 Sacks Sr Year

Myles Garrett had 11 sacks as a freshman. I am thinking he will drop down to around 6 next season under Chavis' scheme.

I'm thinking he drops to 1.5 next year and then transfers. After all, as all the LSU fans here have pointed out, Chavis does terribly without elite talent, and Garrett is mediocre at best.

Just imagine how bad it will be if LSU hires Smart.

In all honesty, I think his sack production does drop(pun not intended). Chavis will actually coach the other defensive players up and myles won't be the only player making plays.

Here's where you're wrong. Chavis only coaches LBs. The coaching up will have to come from the other position coaches.

CB and LB are our weakest spots on the D, so I'd be okay with him coaching up our LBs.

Our LB play hasn't been the best since he's been here.

I will go with frickLSU®. That's usually the answer.
