I heard Kentucky paid the SEC office so they could play us, they said the rest of the west was too weak. I was like, damn.

Prob at LSU too, but definitely at Toledo and MSU. Saban was the HC at MSU when assistant coaches under him were part of the early bidding process for Albert Means, of which MSU was named one of the bidders. Saban left before the Means stuff hit, but he was the HC during Means initial recruitment and had to know what his assistants were doing.

There is an article with quotes from the basketball coach at Toledo when saban was there chastising saban for recruiting violations at the time as well.

So ,every time someone goes someplace besides Alabama does this mean we got outbid?

So we did pay him to come to Bama? And no, I let saban handle the recruiting, I'm not one of those obsessed with everything my football team does.
