Your telling me that Manziel to Evans couldn't score 3 TD's on arguably one of LSU's most flawed defenses that a lesser QB would?

An injured Manziel didn't do well against LSU. I know that Peyton Manning sat out an entire season due to injury. At least Manziel played.

Besides the magical running plays, almost all of the passes were Evans anyway.

Look I understand as much as anybody that there will be some transition at Bama this Spring, Summer, and Fall practices before the season starts but there is a very good chance the Iron Bowl once again decides who goes to the SEC CG from the West. It all depends in Bama's QB race and how Coker looks coming in. I wouldn't be surprised to see Cornwell win the job either

Manziel was on the sideline most of that game.

Okay I'll give you that one But I've never really been anti Les at any time. Best coach we could ask for.

They do play UCF, which finished 12-1 last year (their only loss was by 3 points to USCe).

Gators will surprise a lot of folks..loaded at every position except depth on the OL and experience at TE. on offense...defense will still be the salty hard nosed editions Boom has had at UF.

I expect UF to take Bama, UGA. UT and we play Mizzou LSU, & USC at home. OOC with the girls school will be tough. Could be 11-1 and SECCG.

Driskel has been bashed and will prove naysayers dead wrong...Kelvin Taylor will emerge as a big time runner with a year under his belt..we have recruited a ton of WRs and Ahmad Fulwood started developing last year as frosh to go with sr Dunlap and Andre Debose...the offense will be a lot more potent with Roper as OC.

Bama, LSU & UGA all have new qbs which doesn't bode well for them...Mizzou lost a lot of talent on defense.. UT was wiped out on the lines of scrimmage and is a year away, Vandy will miss Franklin, UK will look to December for roundball.

I wouldn't fill that diaper with shite just yet... Driskel has the experience the new guys don't. That counts for something.

That being said, the running game for Lsu, Bama, And Georgia is vastly superior.

And 11-1? Unless Florida pulls an Auburn Miracle run I don't see them losing just one game.

Could be a good or bad shock

And QB UF's OL was pretty bad last year as well

Meh..Boom still has to prove he can coach a team to wins with a good D and he hasn't showed that yet.

quote:

I'd be shocked if UF makes it out of that group of games at 3 - 4, more likely looking at 2 - 5 with those 7 games in other words IMO UF is not better than 5 of those 7 teams.

That is a rivalry game but also UF is not as good as FSU.

Most of that is debatable, but I'll reserve making judgements on Roper, he has a mess at QB, RB is set and he needs to get the WRs to give a crap. He needs to really do some work on the OL as well. If he can make THAT big a difference and UF goes 11 - 1 or whatever the hell you expect he's earned his money, hell only 4 losses with that sched and he's shown vast improvement

quote:

Bama, LSU & UGA all have new qbs which doesn't bode well for them...

Bama will be fine, enough talent to just run the shite outta the ball against UF and win. LSU's QB has some experience and D will be stacked this year. UGA ALWAYS ahas a good QB you being a fan of UF of all teams should know this and Pruitt will help that D A LOT.

Mizzou lost a lot of talent on defense..

Mizzou's D won't matter much did you not watch the SECCG

Not sure about any of these teams, UK will be a lot better I think.

My gut tells me there is no way in hell Florida makes that big of a jump...but fricking Auburn upset the laws of nature Maybe florida can too. But there are some SERIOUSLY powerful running games coming your way.

I didn't think AU would accomplish what they did obviously and all credit goes to them but its a vastly different situation. AU brought in Gus Malzahn who's an offensive genius and that kept them in games and close and added a string of luck unlike any I've ever seen a team have. Auburns talent is there from good recruiting they were just underperforming under Chizik.

I just don't see it from UF and Driskel

And on Bama I know there are, Bama's D should be ready I'm interested to see how the LB positions shake out there is a shite TON of talent on roster and If Rube wins a starting job inside he will be Bama's next superstar LB (Rolo, Hightower, & Mosley) and steal the show on D next yr
