To be fair, we didn't think Dabo was a good answer for y'all.
He's doing a good job so far. Hopefully it translates to wins. I don't see why it wouldn't. Maybe not winning 11 games anymore. But 7-9 wins every year with an occasional 10-11 win season and competing for the East? I'd take it for now.

He will definitely do good stuff recruiting, we will see if it turns to wins. He was in a tough spot at Florida, Urban left the cupboard a little more bare than a lot of folks would admit. The defense he put together down there was nasty this year and almost single-handedly got them a SEC title.
If I was a supporter of the school, I'd be a little anxious about him hiring his old OC, but maybe personnel will fit better, I don't know.
What I do know is I won't miss Cooper running wild on our secondary.
And you're right about Dabo, particularly when there was a shot we could have gotten Gary Patterson. Beating y'all in '08 pretty much gave him the job, but I know a lot more Clemson fans that were ready to make a move when the losses to y'all started piling up than would admit it now that we've gone to a title game.

1 - Alabama (11-1) Just seems to be the way it works out, can't say who we lose to, just seems like there's going to be a stumble along the way.
2 - LSU (10-2)
3 - Ole Miss (9-3) Rest of the west looks weak
4 - Arkansas (8-4)
5 - Auburn (6-6)
6 - TAMU (5-7)
7 - MSU (5-7)

Arkansas will defeat Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss State, TAMU, LSU, and Florida this season. Toss up at TCU and 3 other wins of OOC teams...
